Wounded Warrior Project 4 of 4 Stars - Charity Navigator
The Wounded Warrior Project seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other hot spots around the world. Many of the injuries are traumatic amputations, gunshot wounds, burns and blast injuries that will retire these brave warriors from military service.  (Recently re-evaluated by: Charity Navigator which gave their highest rating of 4 stars; and BBB which found them in good standing and that recent negative allegations against them were  proven to be false).

Cancer Research Institute 4 of 4 Stars - Charity Navigator
Founded in 1953, The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) has been a leading and sustaining force in immunology and cancer immunology research worldwide. Through our advancement of these two scientific fields, we are learning how to manipulate the human immune system to target and attack cancer. Our goal is to discover and develop new, immune-based approaches to the treatment, control, and prevention of cancer. The Institute fulfills its mission by providing academic researchers at top institutions around the world the funding they need to carry out their important work. We have provided more than $175 million in financial support to more than 2,800 of the world's brightest scientists.

CRI has the highest rating of all cancer charities, 4 stars, by Charity Navigator (please note, we wanted to use the most popular and well recognized cancer charity organization, however, they rated “0”, one of the poorest ratings by Charity Navigator, so we chose the best one, whereby most of the money donated goes to the cause!).

Music Instruments (Ukuleles) For Maui School Classrooms
All of the Hawaiian songs that JJ and Michael have written will have their charitable contributions go to Maui’s schools, donating Ukuleles, with the aim of having all Maui school children having access to music instruments, if they wish to learn to play! JJ and Michael both grew up in California’s golden age of education, when almost all schools had music departments and provided loaned instruments for students to play and practice. It is their desire to provide the same opportunity for Maui’s kids! Music has been shown to actually increase grade point average in students who study music and play an instrument. Albert Einstein would play his piano in order to get his mind into a creative state for pondering his science research. Because there is no established charity as of yet for this cause, JJ and Michael will purchase and present the Ukuleles to Maui schools personally, with the assistance of Maui officials.
